A LITTLE SUPPORT THROUGH THE DARKER MONTHS
Light Club is a free daily check-in for the darker months. Try a manageable activity, like a short walk or a gentle stretch, and check in with your club. A small way to keep going through winter together.
Free to use. Join locally, or start with people you know.
A few minutes is a place to start.
Staying in? Try a gentle stretch instead.
AN EXAMPLE, NOT ANOTHER THING TO GET PERFECT.
ONE SMALL THING AT A TIME
Join a local club on your own, or make a private club with up to eight friends or family members.
Try a manageable activity, like a short walk or gentle stretch. Then add your daily check-in. A small step counts.
Local clubs show collective check-in totals. Private clubs show your group’s check-ins, with optional sharing of your own progress to WhatsApp.
A SHARED WINTER, A LITTLE CLOSER TO HOME
Local clubs are for people who want to take part on their own. Check in alongside others in your area and see your collective progress through winter, without exchanging contact details or posting updates.

Read the private club starter guideA free web app for small daily check-ins through winter. Right now, you can create a private group with people you know, try short activities and see your group’s check-ins. Larger local clubs are planned.
The current daily check-in closes at 9 AM London time. After that, you can still try the activity in practice mode. We’re reviewing this timing as the product develops.
Come back when you can. You don’t owe anyone an explanation, and you don’t need a perfect run of check-ins to take part.
You can open WhatsApp to share a private invitation or your own progress. You choose where it goes and send it yourself. Light Club doesn’t read your chats or automatically post to a group.
Light Club offers shared activities and encouragement, not diagnosis or treatment. If winter is affecting your mood or daily life, the NHS explains seasonal affective disorder and when to speak to a GP.
